Fish Habitat Partnerships Coordination

NRC coordinates three partnerships under the National Fish Habitat Partnership program: the Pacific Marine and Estuarine Fish Habitat Partnership (PMEP), the Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative (PLCI), and the California Fish Passage Forum (CFPF). These partnerships advance regional and national restoration and conservation goals relating to fish habitat along the US West Coast, Idaho, and Alask. PMEP is a consortium of organizations focused on West Coast fish habitat in the region’s estuaries and nearshore marine waters. The PLCI is a hub of tribal, federal, and regional efforts to restore this culturally important fish throughout its historic range. And the CFPF brings together partners focused on removing barriers to migration for anadromous and resident fish throughout California. NRC coordinates these consortia to ensure their work achieves their strategic goals. NRC organizes and facilitates meetings, supports officers and committees, manages projects, build partnerships, guide strategic planning, and executes strategic communications.
