NRC Associate, Joan Drinkwin, is leading a project to test marking and tracking technologies on Fish Aggregation Devices in Vanuatu, Pacific Islands. She is working collaboratively with the Vanuatu Fisheries Department and the Global Ghost Gear Initiative to identify ways to retrieve anchored FADs when they become separated from their moorings.
