Charlie Heller-Shipley
Research TechnicianCharlie Heller-Shipley has over a decade of experience conducting scientific research in Pacific Northwest and Alaskan waters. Through Natural Resouces Consultants and the Bering Sea Fisheries Research Foundation, Charlie has worked on dozens of projects, ranging from derelict fishing gear removal in the Puget Sound to biological sampling in the Bering Sea. In his capacity as the Bering Sea Fisheries Research Foundation’s lead field technician, Charlie is dedicated to preserving marine ecology while managing the vested interests of fishermen, management agencies, and other interested stakeholders. When not in the field, his hobbies include skateboarding and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
